Skin 79 Snail Nutrition BB cream review

Hello ^--^
I just realised what a bad blogger I have been, I mean if I'm reading a blog I get angry if they don't update it atleast once a week haha let alone once a month.

But I am back with a review ^-^b

I got this BB cream around a month ago, maybe a little longer from cosmetic-love.com
You can see the picture of my haul in the last post
Anyway I have had plenty of time to use and test this, so lets start with the packaging....

This BB cream includes the ingredient Snail secretion filtrate, did this put me off?
Not really no, I mean I could see why it would put people off but it didn't bother me!
The BB cream has both UV A and UV B protection with SPF 45

The box says
"Protecting the skin from both UV A and UV B, the tri-functional snail BB cream brightens the dark and dull skin tone, and maintains the skin clean and supple with it's whitening and wrinkle-improving effects"

This BB cream is also Paraben free yaaaay!!!!

I love the packaging it looks really expensive and luxurious, and I love the pump design, it's very hygeniec and easy to get the product out.. The only downside I can see is that the both the bottle and box stain really easily, you can see bb cream finger prints all over them. They are easy to wipe off though.

Now onto swatches....

This swatch is taken under direct sunlight, it actually looks lightly orange here but it isn't that orange in really life.

Partially swatched and blended,
you can see the colour is a little off for me.
I am extremely pale and so my past experience with BB creams have been mixed.
My Skin 79 VIP gold BB cream matched pretty well, even though it had a slight grey cast.
I would have repurchased but it contains parabens and I am trying to but products without them.
My Innisfree eco cover and Lioele triple function was too dark for me.

This BB cream for me had a very strange colour, It had quite strong pink undertones which is good becasue I have slightly pink skin, but the pink was almost too strong for me. Also it has quite strong orangey/grey undertones. I don't really now how to explain the colour but it definetly looked a bit off on my face, although I am quite hard to buy foundation for.

Fully blended, sorry about the vein, it seems to go l ike that when I swatch haha

You can see it doesn't look too bad but on my face it just looks a little odd.

This is defenitely a moisturising BB cream, it has quite a strong dewy effect.
The consistency is quite smooth and creamy and easy to blend.
The coverage is ok, it evens out my redness but doesn't cover blemishes exceptionally well, I need to wear a concealer for blemishes, although it doesn't do a bad job about covering under-eye circles.
The scent was a bit of a strange thing for me, sometimes I don't smell anything at all, sometimes I pick up a light florally scent and then occasionally I get quite a strong smell from it which is hard to explain, sort of like milk or yohgurt but less intense, but that goes away upon application.
It lasts a decent amount, but by around 4 to 5 hours in it strated to go a little cakey in some areas and fade in others, but that happens with a lot of foundations for me so it might just be my skin.

Overall I think I give this BB cream a....
3/5

FOTD, OOTD and Korean make up and skincare haul

Hello :) ~
I apologise profusely for not writing a post in so long, I don't really have much of an excuse, I was on holiday but only for a week, so, I have been neglecting this blog a little bit, and I feel bad

This is mainly just an update, showing some recent, FOTD's,OOTD's and hauls
Recently I have been branching out a little bit with what k-pop songs I listen to, I didn't really listen to many girl groups except Miss A (whose new song I love <3) but thanks to eatyourkimchi I have started listening to 2ne1 and I LOVE them, wow :L
I love there fashion, and am contemplating purchasing a replica of one of the hoodies I saw with the sticky out angel wings on the back. Also I wish I could afford a pair of the trainers/sneekers designed by them, oh well, I shall just have to cut out some cardboard wings and stick them to the side of my current trainers.....nobody will know.....

Anyway here is the first FOTD.....

I exaggerated the eyeliner and eye shadow a bit, as an experiment and I think I am wearing fasle eyelashes from this multi pack I just bought, will have to show you in the next post.
I am pretty much wearing what I always wear on my skin with a few exceptions, the blush is very pale and is totally washed out by the light, but it is Etude House cookie blusher in the lightest pale pink shade-1# Strawberry Mousse, also wearing different mascara-Tony Moly Cats Wink black mascara.

Next my Korean Haul post, these weren't ordered all at once, but over the stretch of a few months, all products were bought from Cosmetic Love (website: http://cosmetic-love.com/?sl=EN)
I love ordering from them becasue its pretty cheap, fast shipping and they give you loads of free samples <3
I bought...
Lioele Beyond the Solution BB cream
Etude House Lovely Cookie blusher in 1# Strawberry Mousse
Tony Moly Cats Wink mascara in black
Skin 79 Snail Nutrition BB cream
Etude House wonder Pore toner <3

Reviews for some of these products soon :)

Next is my OOTD, this was taken a few nights back for a cinema date, so dressy but not too dressy

The t-shirt is from Bubbi t-shirt line (youtuber bubzbeauty)
The blazer/cardigan is from Primark
The skirt is from Primark
the tights I am not too sure, and the necklace was a gift

Finally the last FOTD

This was taken while I was on holiday, I was a bit bored so I was messing around with contouring my nose and cheekbones
I also used eye shadow on my inner corners, winging it down
I know a lot of people use liquid eye liner, because it smudges less but putting eye liner there sometimes irritates my eyes, so I use eye shadow instead (trick from youtuber klairedelys)

Well that's it till next time

OOTD and Cute Hair Accessories

Hey Guys

I have been reasonably busy with school recently, so sorry I haven't posted,
Yesterday I was asked to do the face painting at my local village's fete,
I have done face painting before a few times at big events and have always done pretty well.
Unfortunately there wasn't many young people at the fete so I think I painted about 5 peoples face :(
So to cheer myself up, I stopped off at a small local shop called "home-made home"
It is extremely small, but it soo sweet inside. I should have taken some pictures but I am not sure the shop owner would have liked it. It is full of home-made items for the home as well as some furniture and jewellery and accessories. Everything was florally and feminine, I loved there floral bunting which reminded me of the brand "Kath Kidson"
Anyway I got  some very cute hair bows, when I handed it to the shopping assistant she was like
"Buying this for your little sister?"
I was like
"Ermmm no just for me"
"Oh ok then (puzzled expression)
I actually think these hair bows are meant for babies and toddlers, but oh well ^--^

Here is Yesterday OOTD, me and my friends went to the Beach in the evening and  got Noodles and generally walked about! It was surprisingly fun, seeing as we basically did nothing hahaha :)

Cape and Shorts from New Look
Thigh Highs' Primark

I also thought I would take some pictures of my growing collection of Hair accessories, this isn't all of them, but I would have to dig into the depths of time that is my drawers to find the others :)

Mixed accesories

Dolly make up FOTD

Hey Guys,
I had a pretty rubbish day yesterday, I finally got my Boys over flowers DVD, had to pay extra £15 for handling costs and when I tried on my apparently "multi-region" DVD player it wouldn't work, even after adjusting the settings to the right region and NTSC format it still wouldn't play. It doesn't work on my computer either and so I have no idea what to do. I was so desperate to start watching the series and now I can't!

To cheer myself up I tried some "Dolly" make up today,
I tried to copy Dakota Rose's eye make here, I don't know if it really worked!

Tsubasa Masuwaka Natural eye make up tutorial

I know I said that my first tutorial would be Go Hye Mi's make up from Dream High, but I was suddently inspired to do this make up look after looking for Tsubasa Masuwaka picture when she had dark hair.
This picture was my inspiration...

Quite natural, and dolly

So here is the make up tutorial
*disclaimer* I am not trying to be Asian, or Tsubasa Masuwaka, I am simply drawing inspiration from one of the top Gyaru models of the world

Apply a neutral, cream base to the eyes

Apply a warm brown colour to the crease of the eye to deepen the look of double eyelids

Apply the same warm brown colour to this portion of the eye

Apply a dark grey/black eye shadow colour to the outer corner of the eye

Apply False eyelashes, I am using Dolly Winks Otona lash in number 9 Natural dolly
A more natural lash would suit this look

Apply mascara to your lower lashes, or apply natural bottom lashes if your eyelashes are shorter
Clean up any smudges
Finally tight line you upper water line

Finished look

Ok sorry the picture quality isn't so good in the last pic, so you can't see the make up too clearly.
But it should look very natural but also quite dolly

Collection 2000 Colour pout lip stain review

Hey everyone,
Today I will be review Collection 2000's new lip stain, which I bought from Superdrug for just under £4.
I bought it in the colour "pucker"

I like the packaging, it's quite sleek and the colours of the cap reflect the colour (sort of) of the lip stain

Next Swatches!!
On the left (the brighter pink) is the collection 2000 swatch, I added my Revlon Just bitten stain on the right (colour frenzy) for comparisons sake
You can see that the Collection 2000 stain is much more pigmented and I think longer lasting

Swatch on the lips

This is with no other products, so my lips look a bit dry, you can see the colour does stain the dry area more, so I recommend ex foliating you lips before applying

Swatch on lips 2
You can see it looks much better here.
I would wait for your lip balm to absorb before applying the stain, because the colour is much less pigmented when put over fresh lip balm

In conclusion, I have really enjoyed this lip stain so far, I like the colour a lot, it reminds me of the lips a lot of Korean actresses sport in K-Dramas. The colour is long lasting and I didn't feel the need to apply after eating/drinking. The cons may be that it is quite difficult to blend, and it does settle into dry areas.
Overall I think I give this
4/5
